    What are we looking for?

    The Human Resource Manager position is responsible for aligning Human Resources priorities with business objectives at the Jeannette, Pa operations facility. Acting as the HR Business Partner this position serves as a consultant to the site Senior Leadership team on human resource-related issues to ensure a high performance culture and effective management of our human capital. Acting as a change agent and strategic business partner, the role assesses and anticipates HR/talent-related needs, communicates proactively with HR leadership and business management and seeks to develop and implement integrated talent management solutions.

    Your tasks and responsibilities...

    • Partner with the Plant Manager and the Plant Leadership team to prioritize and execute key initiatives in support of operation’s strategies.
    • Serve as a key member of the site’s Plant Leadership Team. Appropriately challenge, coach and facilitate effective development and day-to-day operations of the team.
    • Lead and direct the performance and development of the site HR resources.
    • Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to site leadership and line management regarding talent attraction, acquisition, development and deployment.
    • Design, execute and promote initiatives and behaviors that reinforce our performance-based culture, and maintain positive labor/employee relations.
    • Collaborate with Operations and Safety leaders to reinforce safety culture and drive strong safety performance.
    • Work collaboratively with management and employees to improve teamwork/communication, build morale, and increase productivity, engagement and retention.
    • Lead labor relations function through contract administration, resolving disputes, and promoting good management/union relations.
    • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
    • Participate in design, evaluation and monitoring of site training programs to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Supports leaders in driving accountability.

    Who you are...

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Employment Labor Relations or Business Administration
    • 3 or more years of experience
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee/labor relations, diversity, talent management, and federal and state respective employment laws
    • Experience working in a progressive HR environment with exposure to best practices in talent management, employee relations and change management.
    • Experience working within manufacturing plant operations.
    • Career path in Human Resources that demonstrates increasing responsibility/progression.
    • Demonstrated strong business partnering skills.
    • Demonstrated learning agility.
    • Long term geographic mobility / willingness to relocate for career advancement
