    What are we looking for?

     The Lead Operations Analyst, SAP Production Planning & Materials, will play an integral role in:

    • Planning, managing and executing the activities associated with detailed analysis and redesign of Production Planning business processes.
    • Designing, implementing, and supporting business processes and challenges related to planning, supply chain and manufacturing.
    • Supporting Production Control & Manufacturing Planning for make to stock and make to order discrete manufacturing configuration within SAP
    • Understands MRP and other planning parameters (Safety stock, min max replenishment, reorder point, etc.
    • This role is ultimately accountable for ensuring that the recommended solutions are based on best practices, flexible, and extendable as new needs arise. The Lead Analyst of Production Planning will be a key member of the IT SAP Functional team

    Your tasks and responsibilities...

    • Provide guidance to the businesses on the appropriate use of the SAP system
    • Review, analyze, and evaluate as-is business processes within the Demand to Supply (DTS) work stream.
    • Design to-be business processes based on SAP DTS global template and best practices
    • Lead and assist in SAP design sessions or blueprint workshops
    • Configure and maintain the relevant SAP components including but not limited to Production Planning, Production Scheduling, Production Execution, Purchasing, Quality Management (including documentation)
    • Support business users in delivery of end user training
    • Support Extract, Transform and Cleanse of data objects
    • Facilitate business process reviews to gather expected business outcomes and functional requirements; document end-to-end processes, related IT systems and functional business requirements (include people, process and technology etc.)
    • Translates functional business requirements into logical and physical design specifications to configure, document and test elements of system design across multiple functional groups; leads design reviews.
    • Defines and documents re-usable test cases; builds test objects and data as needed; participates in design and execution of system, integration and performance testing.
    • Sets schedules, timelines, scope, outcome/value maps, and other project artifacts; creates estimates for upcoming projects.

    • Understands best practice business processes to ensure compliance and end use support in a highly regulated environment.
    • Provides risk analysis to business partners for proposed solutions
    • Supports concurrent work assignments across applications and diverse user groups; works to resolve system issues.
    • Configures, develops and tests elements of system design. Documents support materials including functional and technical specifications for use within IT.
    • Maintains and develops internal business relationships to influence successful project outcomes.

    Who you are...

    • Bachelors degree required
    • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations
    • SAP Production Planning (FTS): ATP, Material Master, Work Centers, Routings Make-to-Order, Make-to-Stock, Repetitive
    • SAP Materials Management (PTP) Procurement, Scheduling Agreements, Cycle Counting, Inventory Management
    • Experience with all aspects of SAP Procure to Pay and Materials Management business processes and functionality.
    • Experience migrating SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7 or greater to SAP S/ 4HANA
    • Extensive understanding of SAP Methodologies and Agile/ Scrum principles.
    • Experience with SAP Best Practices Business Processes and Global templates and configuring these Best Practices.
    • Experience utilizing SAP Solution Manager for process configuration and documentation.
    • Able to Lead Explore Phase Business Requirement Documentation, Validation and design workshops.
    • Experience with all aspects of SAP Procure to Pay and Materials Management business processes and functionality
    • Create and manage SAP project tracks to implement or deploy capabilities as required: blueprints, gap analysis, end-to-end process design, testing strategy, cutover plans, training, etc.
    • Provide overall maintenance and support
    • Create functional specifications for application development objects (interfaces, conversions, enhancements and reports and forms) and guide the development of those programs within the development team.
    • Coordination with the global team on all changes
    • Four-year college degree
    • In-depth understanding of Manufacturing or Supply Chain functionality and underlying data model (including configuration and master data)
    • Understanding of cross-process integration with focus on manufacturing, production execution and quality management
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in end-to-end life cycle implementation projects for SAP Production Planning
    • Minimum of 5 years of SAP project experience including hands-on functional configuration, facilitation and communication to customers and stakeholders
    • Experience working in a global SAP environment.
    • Must be detail oriented, self-directed and have strong independent problem solving skills
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Strong presence and ability to interact with CxO level

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working on 3 or more Full Life Cycle SAP implementations
    • Experience in providing structure and guidance to a global project team.
    • Experience with SAP MII a plus
    • Experience working with Solution Manager is a plus
    • Experience with Fiori, Predictive Analysis, and UX tools a plus
    • Experience with Loftware, Bartender or other printing applications a plus
    • Extensive experience with SharePoint and Project Management tools a plus
