OMNOVA Solutions’ Leadership Development Program (LDP) is an exciting, unique opportunity for ambitious and highly talented graduates looking to jump-start their sales career.

     

    OMNOVA Solutions is a focused polymer, specialty chemicals and functional surfaces organization with exciting market leadership positions across the globe. We have the need to acquire and grow exceptional talent to assume mid-level sales and leadership positions as we continue to grow.

     

    Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a two-year rotational program designed specifically for highly talented candidates who have a strong desire to stretch their abilities and enhance their sales potential. Our LDP candidates will have the opportunity to complete (3) eight month rotations. Right from the start, the LDP puts you in the middle of customer interactions, where you will have the ability to make significant contributions to the organization. Upon completion of the program, you will be considered for a highly impactful sales role based upon your career interests, performance and development during your program.

    Your tasks and responsibilities...

    During the LDP, you will experience:

    • Business/Market development in growing markets
    • Sales strategy development, planning, and execution
    • Involvement in new product launches
    • Exposure to multiple business segments in a global organization
    • Leadership development in a dynamic work environment
    • Exposure to/experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, and other functions to provide best-in-class service to customers

We are looking for people who have true aspirations to lead these initiatives. Our Leadership Development Program will provide you the accelerated development to ‘learn by doing’ and will put you in the thick of things. OMNOVA provides a variety of experiences that provides you with breadth of experience to help accelerate your development.

    Candidates must be highly motivated, results-oriented, and possess a passion for strengthening business acumen, strategic account management, and leadership skills. Additional qualifications include:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or other relevant major
    • A minimum of one year of relevant professional work experience (can be obtained through internship experience)
    • Permanent work authorization in the Unites States is required
