    What are we looking for?

    The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for material and capacity planning activities required to support production demand, and satisfying customer requirements within lead time targets. This position manages inventory, disposition of slow moving and obsolete finished goods, and develops and drives continuous & process improvement initiatives across Supply Chain that creates capacity, reduces inventory and/or improves service. The position requires an organized individual with a high energy level that is self motivated and committed to excellence in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

    Your tasks and responsibilities...

    • Provides high level direction and support of plant production planning through the production process, making decisions on change of direction to meet customer needs.
    • Exercises high degree of discretion and judgment and establishes priorities regarding the planning of goods throughout the production floor working with OMNOVA’s Commercial Team and Customer Care Manager and Shipping Coordinator.
    • Daily communication with Customer Care Manager and team in order to effectively manage customer order prioritization requests.
    • Responsible for the monitoring of Production Schedules and Finished Goods replacement for financial tracking purposes and in support of Company goals.
    • Responsible for the monitoring of the creation of material releases, Bill of Materials, and Routings to meet production and customer requirements.
    • Meets production goals, lead time, quality and cost objectives.
    • Using all resources available, anticipates issues that impact the organization’s ability to meet its’ commitments and goals. Develops plans to proactively address these and other issues. Works with management team to execute these plans.
    • Manage Stock, Customer Make and Hold and Vendor Managed Inventory Programs
    • Manage and update MRP (Materials Resource Plan) frequently
    • Work with purchasing coordinator to manage/optimize raw material needs
    • Work with the commercial and technical team to manage New Product Development and pre-trial activities
    • Responsible for WIP (Work in Process) and finished goods inventory on shop floor
    • Work with local financial controller to complete bi-annual inventory process
    • Participate in daily production and lead scheduling review meetings
    • Participate in the Auburn plant safety programs

    Who you are...

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
    • 5-7 years of experience with purchasing/ materials/ supply chain management
