    What are we looking for?

    Under the general direction of the Human Resources Manager, this position performs human resources-related duties at the professional level in the following functional areas for the Chester, SC and Monroe, NC sites: employee relations, training, employment, and payroll.

    Your tasks and responsibilities...

    • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
    • Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings
    • Facilitates or provides training (including orientation) to the workforce
    • Assists in resolving employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints
    • Provides communication of benefit programs and drive resolution of issues related to employee concerns on payroll, benefits and other employee programs
    • Conduct and assist in investigation and resolution of employee issues
    • Coordinate employee involvement programs such as service awards, health & wellness, employee & family assistance, tuition reimbursements, employee meetings, wellness activities etc.
    • Performs monthly attendance reporting for the facilities, issuing any corrective action requirements
    • Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement
    • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs

    Who you are...

    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration or related field
    • Minimum of 1- 3 years human resources experience preferably in a manufacturing setting
    • Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to HR management
    • Excellent communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to successfully complete projects and initiatives in required time-frames
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment as well as being an effective team player
    • Detail-oriented with demonstrated project management and strong analytical skills
    • Strong PC knowledge and skills:  Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
