    What are we looking for?

    The Quality Specialist scope of work crosses several area of plant operations including: ISO Quality System, Production, Safety Health & Environmental, Color Lab, and Training. This position is responsible for administrative oversight of the quality system. Key responsibilities include overseeing the document control process, maintaining ISO and Lab manuals, management review, and coordinating and facilitating the ISO internal audit schedule. This position will ensure all work instructions are up-to-date including management of change. Maintenance SOP review coordination and updates will be performed. Training and certification documentation in the areas of operational SOP’s, Safety and Compliance will be maintained.

    Your tasks and responsibilities...

    ISO Coordination:

    • Lead ongoing and yearly review, creation, revision and certification of all site work instructions culminating in final approval by Technical and Operations Leaders, Revise Work Instructions as needed to include Management of Change.
    • Oversee Document Control Process, Maintain ISO and Lab Manuals, Management Review, Coordinate and facilitate ISO internal audit schedule. Perform ISO audits.

    Operations Support:

    • Lead the management of Standard Operating Procedures as an ongoing activity.
    • Revise Work Instructions as needed to include Management of Changes
    • Identify areas of improvement through CAR process and lead LEAN events to drive continuous improvement.
    • Back-up construction of Material Masters, BOMs and Routings
    • Quality Support:
    • Assist in Quality Metrics tracking. Analyze and identify potential problems.
    • Analyze complaint data to drive continuous improvement projects
    • Identify areas for improvement and drive change through LSS tools.
    • Act as Quality Claims manager as needed


    • Complete assigned safety activities on a monthly/weekly basis
    • Coordinate the required safety SOP reviews and updates

    Who you are...

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related business field or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing or quality setting in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
    • 3-5 Years of experience in Quality, Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma) and Manufacturing Operations
    • Experience developing Work Instructions, SOPs, training & certification systems
    • Experience in implementing quality management processes and procedures
    • LEAN Six Sigma Experience
    • Microsoft Office expertise, Word, Excel, Power point – Strong data analysis skills (Minitab,etc)
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, PC and SAP skills
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills

    Preferred Qualification

      • Process/Manufacturing experience
      • SAP Knowledge
      • LSS Greenbelt Certification / Kaizen Facilitator
      • Knowledge of EPA, OSHA Safety and PSM standards
      • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
