    What are we looking for?

    The Territory Manager will sell a broad range of Decorative Laminates within a geographical territory profitably grow business with new and existing customers.    This position will work closely with the Strategic Account Managers to manage projects through and from their account base.  This role is responsible for overall customer relationship management; including working internally as a customer advocate to ensure needs are met.

    Your tasks and responsibilities...

    • Represent OMNOVA Solutions products to customer accounts as the single point of contact in the designated territory
    • Supports all existing customer accounts, protecting existing business, and leads the development of new profitable growth in existing and new customers; balances customer retention and new business growth
    • In support of the businesses’ strategic plan, drives business development across territory and ensures appropriate opportunity qualification
    • Aligns territory strategy to overall strategic plan for the business; effectively executes pricing and margin management strategies
    • Provides direction to and coordinates with other regions to support and grow key accounts as assigned
    • Accountable for defining appropriate level of customer and technical service support, and for execution of new sales opportunities and Technical Service projects
    • Has responsibility for coordinating sample management for potential/new customers
    • Responsible for providing Voice of the Customer and competitive intelligence to Marketing
    • Responsible for accurate Sales Forecasting and customer data
    • Utilize CRM as a business management tool to assist in sales cycle management, opportunity tracking, customer interaction log, etc.

    Who you are...

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
    • Demonstrated pricing management/execution experience
    • Demonstrates strong business acumen, and can clearly articulate company and product value proposition
    • Demonstrated effective Territory Management skills
    • Demonstrated success utilizing a consistent selling process
    • Demonstrated technical aptitude; an inherent interest in learning about our industry and products
