    What are we looking for?

    The Inside Sales Representative will be the primary commercial contact for a specified customer base and prospect list in the Americas region. This role will be responsible and accountable for the growth and management of business with customers within their portfolio. This role will be responsible for maintaining business and targeted growth within existing accounts.  Follow-up and qualification of leads that have been generated through websites, trade shows, or prospecting.

    Your tasks and responsibilities...

    • Manage customer base through Sales and Commercial best practices
    • Provides sales operations support, including input and verification of pricing, analysis and reporting
    • Secure and develop selected accounts through phone, web, and other electronic communications
    • Effectively executes pricing strategies for assigned accounts
    • Collaborates and coordinates with Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Product Management to address customer support needs
    • Responsible for providing market and competitive intelligence to Marketing
    • Responsible for accurate Sales Forecasting and customer data

    Who you are...

    • Bachelors in business or technical discipline, preferably one of the sciences
    • Experience 3-5 years in sales or sale support; or related customer facing roles (customer service)
    • Demonstrated successful sales experience; or customer interface
    • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport
    • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic, changing, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to interact and work effectively with internal and external customers
    • Ability to interface across multiple customer levels and functions
    • Strong interpersonal communications (written and oral), organizational and time management skills; including multi-tasking and prioritizing

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in the Chemicals industry
    • Cold-Calling experience
    • Manage multiple tasks and goals
    • Technical competence (technical acumen, degree, or experience) preferred
    • Demonstrated aptitude to work with Sales systems, including web; SAP, CRM, Microsoft Office, and data management
