What are we looking for?

The Inside Sales Representative will be the primary commercial contact for a specified customer base and prospect list in the Americas region. This role will be responsible and accountable for the growth and management of business with each customer. This role will be responsible for maintaining business and targeted growth within existing accounts.  Lead follow-up and qualification that have been generated through websites, trade shows, or new prospects.

Your tasks and responsibilities...

  • Secure and develop selected accounts through phone, web, and other electronic communications
  • Effectively executes pricing strategies for assigned accounts
  • Provides sales operations support, including input and verification of pricing, analysis and reporting
  • Collaborates and coordinates with Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Product Management to address customer support needs
  • Responsible for providing market and competitive intelligence to Marketing
  • Responsible for accurate Sales Forecasting and customer data

Who you are...

  • Demonstrated successful sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport
  • Demonstrated aptitude to work with Sales systems, including web, CRM, and data management
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic, changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact and work effectively with internal and external customers
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline, preferably in one of the sciences
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or sales support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Chemicals industry
  • Strong interpersonal communications (written and oral), organizational and time management skills; including multi-tasking and prioritizing
  • Cold-Calling experience
  • Technical competence (technical acumen, degree, or experience)
